| Anyone who
has a swimming pool, indoor or outdoor, is aware
of the cost of maintaining and heating it. Therefore
it makes complete sense to harness the sun's
energy to supply heat, eliminating the need
for conventional heating sources, reducing green
house gases and also extending the season the
pool can be used.
Carrington School in High
Wycombe has done just that. With funding from
Buckinghamshire County Council and our help,
the children at the school now enjoy a beautiful
outdoor heated pool, complete with two external
hot water showers all provided by solar energy.
